‘Un Smoked’. This Lapsang is grown in Fujian province.
Malty aroma in the warm gaiwan with a deep malt touch of spice off the rinse. Nice and smooth (the hallmark of a good Black). Low to zero mouth pucker. Not a sweet Black, this tea is malty with deep pinewood camphor. A more serious brew. Good astringency is here, not overweighted, just right.
