This Lapsang comes from a different supplier than our preceding offerings and is although similar it is not the same. Malty aroma off this rinse with hints of stewed fruit. The taste is malty, pinewood with sweetness that opens later on. It’s got more power and astringency that will supply a good hit of caffeine but remains balanced in the cup. A fair texture and mouthfeel which is the sign of a good Hong Cha!
