Description
How to explain a Liu Bao tea. The taste is similar to a ripe Puerh but more intense taste with less (maybe unwanted) thickness in the mouth. Ripe Puerh tends to have a broth filled with tea particles which creates the allure of thickness. This tea is clean! Creamy, earthy sweet yoghurt aroma off the rinse. A dark ruby colour. The taste is not so sweet but camphor, woody notes and a touch of earth. interesting and satisfying low level bitterness and light hanging astringency. A creeping relaxing and energising chi is noticed. The smooth nature of this tea increases after first infusion making for a pure tasting, smooth semi savoury treat!
