Deep sweet aroma off the rinse. 6 years has helped to meld this cake together quite nicely, it’s smooth and slightly complex with fruity aspects . Even early on this tea feels clean, smooth with a robust nature. We noticed sparks of sweetness sweep across the palette from the first cup. It feels by the taste and appearance of the leaf that in general the producer opted for more lower grade leaf and less tippy grade, this gives the deep and strong characteristics. The chi is a slow riser (which I much prefer to a sudden slap in the face!). The feeling of Bulang for me is fairly forceful stoney or heavily relaxing 😌.
