Description
This cake is made from 100% Spring Yiwu Gao Shan Gushu material, sourced from high mountain old tree gardens in Yiwu. The leaves rested for one year before being stone pressed for us in 2020. Since 2019, this second batch has been carefully stored in Guangdong, allowing controlled natural ageing in a traditional southern environment.
Aroma & Character
There is an unmistakable aromatic signature found in truly high-grade Yiwu white tea — and this cake carries it in abundance.
Once hot water meets the leaf, the fragrance expands immediately:
syrupy autumn red berries, bright raspberry sweetness, and a warming depth that fills the space around the gong fu session.
The rinse reveals a vivid raspberry aroma.
The liquor pours a deep golden-yellow, gradually shifting towards amber-orange as the session progresses.
Taste & Texture
Early steeps mirror the rinse:
clean, bright raspberry fruit layered over a pure, elegant structure.
This is a refined and balanced Yiwu white tea — soft in texture yet structured. The mouthfeel is smooth and salivating, with a syrupy body that lingers.
As the session develops, deeper notes emerge, adding strength and composure without losing clarity.
Energy (Qi)
The qi builds gradually but with presence.
A classical Gao Shan energy — grounding, meditative, and forcefully relaxing without heaviness.
Brewing

Ageing Potential
