Description
One of China’s most prized and famous teas! Cheaper ‘Dragon Well’ can have a faint flavour with high astringency. We feel this version hits the mark well for price and a truly pleasurable Dragon Well experience! This 2023 Spring Long Jin green is wonderfully textured with a long overt chestnut note. Can be brewed in a big teapot for a full on chestnut flavour. You can use a tall glass with 85c water, leave standing for a around 60 seconds and pour. this process can be repeated several times. Gong Fu brewing will offer more delicate notes with less body and flavour but a more refined overall session.

I always have some dragon well in my tea stash. For me it’s the taste of summer; light refreshing and very satisfying.
This one is the best I’ve tried in a while ? Just opening the bag I got a full on hit of fresh cut grass and a hint of that chestnut yumminess.
I brew this somewhere between gong Fu and big teapot style: 3-4 grams in 100ml of 80°c water for 30 seconds for the first brew.
Anyway, to the point!
This is excellent tea at the price and I’m going to enjoy every cup!
