Description
Material from Fengqing area of Lincang county (Yunnan). This area has been famous for its black tea for many many decades. Made with a 2 leaf 1 bud ratio. A very solid and popular Yunnan area black tea. This example has a well rounded texture and taste with punchy deep notes, a strong but balanced astringency and wonderful aroma that we think punches way above its modest price point. The perfect ‘pick me up’!

This is a solid example of Yunnan Hong cha. Nice malty/dried fruits aroma and taste. Long sweet aftertaste and a good amount of astringency which just balances the whole thing out.
A good hit of caffeine too! No late night sessions on this one!
Good tea at a fair price ??

At the more value end of tea you’ll struggle to get a nicer black tea than this on the internet! Strong to boot!
Lovely smell on the material post brewing, medium malt with hint of Scottish Whisky on the nose. Recommended as a daily brew.
