2007 Higher grade Taiwanese ‘Dong Ding’ Oolong that has been sealed with a heavy roast. Most likely hand picked at a higher elevation (1100m ish). With this ‘Heavy Roast’ aged Oolong you can expect a more complex deep roasted flavour throughout infusions. Consistency of the tea is medium to smooth and exhibits some buttery raisin notes. The brew is a clean, clear turning yellow /orange in the cup and is very infusable. Feel free to use a high leaf content for optimum results.
