Description
This is a very special Black tea for a few reasons. We managed to obtain only 1kg of material from this high mountain unmanaged tea garden. Bushes are fairly large and old. The tea has been processed into an elegant and fruity number.
the mouthfeel is remarkably smooth and soft, liquid glides down the throat effortlessly. Drinking encourages salivation, no mouth pucker. Frontal notes of tart red berries, healthy minerality and limited astringency that doesn’t overwhelm when pushed. You can rate the purity in this tea, it just comes across so clean and unsullied. What’s quite remarkable about this tea is the long, fruity aftertaste. Something that Puerh drinkers will definitely appreciate and something that is very rare to be found in a Black tea.
