2010 Jin Tai Hao Yiwu Raw Puerh Tea Cake

Off the rinse there is slight earth and a syrup like sweetness. From the get go there is a pleasant smooth nature to this tea. A vail of low lying astringency that folds back into a very noticeable and pleasant aftertaste and returning sweetness. Hints of tobacco and general aged goodness. There’s a fair energy with this tea that I picked up from the first infusion, energetic and meditative which leads me to guess that this cake is potentially blended Yiwu / something else. We can’t verify but we can look at this tea for what it is, a chilled aging number with some good attributes.
