Omani Black Resin ‘Luban Aswad’ Frankincense

This Black resin is tapped from the Boswelia Sacra trees of Oman. When tapping the first resin to be harvested is Green Hojari followed by yellow, Orange. Black is the final stage of harvest. Black resin can also be produced by tapping the tree’s out of season. Although this grade of resin is fairly in expensive it does have a very alluring aroma. It’s very deep and spicy and one of my personal favourites! Small amounts of tree bark may be present with the resin. This can also be burnt and adds to the complex rich aroma! Rich, spicy tangerine scent.
