Price is per gram
Outside of Vietnam you can still buy wild Agarwood at agreeable prices! Malaysia is host to 4 of the 13 species of Aqilaria Agarwood trees.
This batch is of medium oil grade (A), moving towards A+. Agarwood collected from the forests of Malaysia. The scent is woody/sweet, deep and long lasting. A grade may be lower in oil and resin but comes in at a bargain price per gram and definitely worthy of appreciation. Wild is always a better aroma than cultivated. Most likely these chips (being low in quality) were collected from a wild tree in a known spot, farmed every few years by Agarwood hunters. The tree would be hacked or nailed to let fungus set in then harvested.
