If there were a classification between 1/2 sinking and A+ grade in the Indonesian grading system then this would be it. There isn’t so I classified this as 1/3 sinking 😀. Not as oily and resinous as 1/2 sinking but better than A+, priced accordingly. Scent is good and a little bubbly resin can be seen when heating.
Small batch. Borneo is the largest of the Indonesian islands and home to many of the Aquilaria ‘agarwood’ trees. These wild chips are foraged by village hunters deep in the Borneo forests. These are highly resinous Agarwood chips from this region. If a wood chip contains enough resin it will actually sink in water! The aroma is sweet, deep, earthy and long lasting.
