What happens when you get GOOD Dan Cong material and process it like a Lapsang?
Lapsangs can be great but most are pretty one dimensional. This Lapsang is malty, it’s got bergamot going on and some extra undefined fruity notes dancing on the palette. A silky smooth, elegant, pure tasting Black tea with silky texture, returning sweetness, solid aftertaste and cheeky bitterness. SOLID! Probably my favourite new addition to our 2024 oolong range!

Definitely presents more as a Lapsang than a Dancong, but a really good Lapsang at this price point. Spicey with notes of ginger and cardomon and balanced with malt bread with buttercream and sweet apriocot jam.
