Black Tide is distilled from carefully managed Bangladeshi agarwood trees of around 20 years in age. The oil unfolds with restraint and intention, offering depth and motion rather than immediate impact. On skin, it opens slowly, releasing a moist, resin-rich aroma that evokes rainforest air lingering after heavy rain.
The first impression leans dark and animalic, with supple leather and raw earth tones. As the scent evolves, lighter resinous facets begin to surface, threading through the base and lending a sense of space and breath to the composition.
There is a natural ebb and flow to this oud — moments of gravity followed by gentle lift as it continues to open. In the later stages, a muted sweetness appears, softened by polished wood and mature resins.
Black Tide does not announce itself. It speaks quietly, with assurance and depth, rewarding those who allow it the time to unfold fully on the skin.
