The best that Indonesia has to offer!
following our tea tasting at Dharma Teas in Bali we were struck with the beautifully fruity nature of this Black tea! The material is grown in East Java on an industrial scale some reported 1000 hectare plot devoted to this tea. The tea is machine cut and graded. Although this tea isn’t hand picked, there is no outrageous astringency or bitterness to speak of. A sensible, robust assamica with wonderful blackberry flavour and aroma, quite astonishing really!
Myra has been grown in Indonesia for centuries and local research centres have produced cultivars like this that are unique to this region.
