2012 Xiaguan FT Taiwan #6
A strong and interesting 100g Raw Puerh cake with lingering syrup sweet aftertaste.
Lovers of strong, young raw puerh will relish this interesting offering from Xiaguan with its pleasant bitter, slightly smoky & syrup sweet finish. The 2012 FT Taiwan #6 is a remake of their classic FT series. Good examples of the original 1999 now sells for around £350 per cake! Made using spring 2012 material and compressed in the traditional method with Cang Shan Mountain spring water, this factory is upholding the same care and attention into this re-release. Xiaguan is a widely known Puerh brand and is famous for creating cakes that age superbly. Compression of the leaves is tight and the tea comes boxed which creates a stable atmosphere for the cake to age perfectly. We recommend buying at least two cakes, one for enjoying now and one to keep for further developments in flavour.
